Season’s Eatings, Our Guide to a Festive Holiday Menu

If you are planning on cooking a delicious yet easy-to-make feast for Christmas this year, our checklist of recipes will surely satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

We highly recommend setting the table before any of the cooking begins. Tablescaping, also known as table-setting, will upgrade a traditional table from ordinary to extraordinary! A few items that we love to add to our table during Christmas to give it a simple yet elegant aesthetic are cranberries and mistletoe throughout the center. A tip to keep in mind is that they don’t have to be real. If you have fake leaves, mistletoe and cranberries in Christmas décor at home, save some of it for your tablescape. Have pinecones? Add some of them across the center of your table as well!

Pinecones are also great to use for individual place settings. Add a pinecone to each place setting and on cardstock paper cut into small pieces, write the names of family members on each card. Then simple insert the card right into the cone, using the cone as the place-card holder to create a personalized table seating. You can also add some bells or rosemary to each place setting to add a festive touch.
