About Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Feta & Cranberries

This recipe is the perfect combination of Fall flavors with sweet potatoes, feta cheese, and cranberries all coming together to create the epitome of elevated comfort food. The comforting warmth comes from the mashed sweet potatoes, their natural sweetness heightened by the addition of cranberries, and then a surprising twist— the creamy bite of feta cheese. It not only tastes delicious it is also visually stunning.  The combination of vibrant hues of orange, deep red, and snowy white create the perfect addition to your festive table.


3 large sweet potatoes, peel and cubed (about 6 cups)

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup Feta cheese, crumbled

1/8 cup dried cranberries

1 tablespoon honey


01Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
02Meanwhile, peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
03Add the sweet potatoes to the pot of boiling water and cook until fork-tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain, and transfer to a mixing bowl.
04While the potatoes are boiling, add the butter and heavy whipping cream to a small pot over low heat to melt the butter and warm the mixture.
05Using a potato masher or electric mixer, blend the warm butter mixture into the sweet potatoes until the desired consistency is reached.
06Transfer the mashed sweet potatoes to a serving bowl and top with the crumbled goat cheese and cranberries.
07Drizzle on the honey and serve warm.
