Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients for Casserole Base

3 (15-ounce) cans pureed sweet potatoes

2 large eggs, beaten

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 cup 2% or whole milk

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Ingredients for Casserole Topping

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

01Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
02In a bowl, mix together sweet potatoes, eggs, salt, milk, and vanilla. Slowly pour in melted butter and mix thoroughly. Pour into baking dish.
03In a bowl, combine butter cubes, brown sugar, flour, and pecans with fingers until it incorporates together well as a crumb style topping. Spread evenly over the top of the sweet potato mixture.
04Bake for 60 minutes.
