Ingredients

Vegetable oil, for frying

4 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles, finely crushed

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

4 large eggs, lightly beaten

2 (16-ounce) blocks mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch thick sticks

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Preparation

01Heat medium Dutch oven or heavy-bottom pot over medium-high heat, and fill halfway with oil. Heat oil to 350°F. Combine crushed noodles and Parmesan in small bowl. Place flour and eggs in 2 separate small bowls. Dredge cheese in flour, shaking off any excess, then into eggs and then into crushed noodle mixture.
02Working in batches, fry mozzarella sticks until golden brown, about 2 to 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining mozzarella sticks.
03Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in small saucepan over low heat until warmed through.
04Garnish mozzarella sticks with basil. Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy.
