Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons water

1 cup frozen mixed berries

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon unsalted butter (for the pan)

1 (16 ounce) Brie wheel

1/4 cup walnuts

Preparation

01Preheat oven to 350 F.
02In a small saucepan, heat the sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved.
03Add the berries and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
04Add in the cornstarch and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and let the mixture thicken as it cools.
05Grease the baking sheet with butter.
06Place the brie on baking the sheet and the walnuts inn their own space on the baking sheet next to the brie. Bake for 7 minutes.
07Remove the brie and walnuts from the oven.
08Plate the brie and top it off with the mixed berry mixture and walnuts.
