Turkey Cheddar Burger with Apple Slaw

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground turkey

1 large egg, beaten

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

8 slices sharp white cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon whole grain mustard

1 cup shredded green cabbage

1 Granny smith apple, cored and cut into matchsticks

4 whole wheat burger buns

Preparation

01Preheat grill to medium-high heat and coat with oil. Combine turkey, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and parsley in large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Form into four patties.
02Grill burgers about 5 minutes per side, until exterior is golden and turkey is cooked through. During last minute of cooking, top burgers with 2 slices cheddar.
03While burgers cook, prepare slaw: combine sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, honey and mustard in large mixing bowl. Add cabbage and apples, tossing to combine.
04Place turkey burgers on buns and top with slaw.
