Ingredients

1 stick + 1 tablespoon of butter

500 ml of milk

2 tablespoons whipped butter

1 egg

1,000 ml of bread flour

3 packs of rapid rise yeast

100 ml of sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cardamon

cinnamon and sugar

swedish pearl sugar

Preparation

01In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and milk together until it reaches a temperature of 98.6 degrees.
02While the butter and milk are on the stove, mix the flour, yeast, 100 ML of sugar, salt, and cardamon in a large bowl.
03Once the butter and milk reach 98.6 degrees, add it into the dry mixture and mix well. If it is sticky, you can add flour.
04Let the mixture rise covered in the bowl with a clean kitchen towel for 40 minutes.
05Sprinkle flour onto a clean countertop. Place half the dough onto the flour and roll it out.
06Spread the rolled-out dough with whipped butter until it has a layer covering the entire surface area.
07Sprinkle with copious amounts of cinnamon and sugar. Repeat with the second part of the dough.
08Roll up the dough until it forms a long roll. Slice pieces of the roll and place into cupcake baking cups.
09Using a baking brush, brush the dough with the egg wash, then top each with a small amount of pearl sugar.
10Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
