01Place the potatoes on a large plate and poke each in two places with a fork.
02Microwave the potatoes on high for 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
03Smash each potato with a fork and spread the butter over all of them. Sprinkle them with salt.
04Cover the potatoes evenly with the shredded cheese and bacon. Microwave on high for 1 minute, until the cheese is melted. If the cheese is not completely melted, microwave in 30-second intervals until melted.
05Top the potatoes with sour cream and green onions, if using.
