About Bloody Hot Chocolate

Introducing the ultimate indulgence for those who crave a unique and fiery twist on a classic comfort drink – our Bloody Hot Chocolate!  This recipe combines the rich, velvety smoothness of traditional hot chocolate with a bold and unexpected infusion of decadently creamy ingredients and bright red coloring. It’s a tantalizing fusion that will awaken your taste buds in a way you never imagined and be the perfect showstopper for your next Halloween party, scary movie night, or any fun and festive gathering.

1/2 cup chocolate sauce

1/4 cup (2-ounces) cream cheese, softened

3 tablespoons sugar

1 1/2 cups heavy cream, divided

2 cups milk

1 cup white chocolate chips

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon red food coloring

2 teaspoons red sugar sprinkles

01Place chocolate sauce on small plate. Press rims of 4 mugs into chocolate sauce. Set aside.
02Whisk cream cheese and sugar together in large bowl until smooth. While whisking vigorously, slowly pour in 1/2 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside for topping hot chocolate.
03Combine milk, remaining heavy cream, white chocolate chips, brown sugar, cocoa powder and red food coloring in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring often until hot and combined, about 5 minutes.
04Divided hot chocolate between prepared mugs. Top with whipped cream mixture and sprinkles. Serve immediately and enjoy.
