1Made this recipe

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs, with skin

2 cups buttermilk

2 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Olive oil- or canola oil-based cooking spray

Preparation

01Preheat the air fryer to 375 F.
02Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
03In a wide shallow dish, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, salt, and pepper. In a separate shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
04One at a time, coat each chicken thigh with the flour mixture, dip into the buttermilk mixture, letting excess drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture again. Repeat until all chicken thighs are coated.
05In batches, spray the chicken thighs with cooking spray and place in an even layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Be sure to leave room between the pieces of chicken for airflow to create crispiness. Air-fry for 20 minutes, then flip chicken and spray with cooking spray again. Cook for another 5-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F and the chicken is golden brown.
06Repeat with remaining chicken.
