About Pizza Bites

There’s something irresistible about a bite-sized snack that packs all the flavors of a full meal into a single, delicious morsel. These Pizza Bites are the ultimate crowd-pleaser, offering a delightful twist on the classic pizza experience. Perfect for casual get-togethers, game nights, or simply indulging in a savory treat, each bite is loaded with cheesy goodness, a touch of spice, and that familiar, comforting pizza flavor. These little delights are not only fun to eat, but also incredibly easy to make, ensuring you can whip up a batch in no time for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 cups grated mild (or sharp) Cheddar

1/3 cup finely chopped pepperoni

2 (7.5-ounce) tubes regular-size refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (20 biscuits total)

Olive or vegetable oil

Warmed marinara sauce (optional)

Preparation

01If not serving immediately: Heat oven to 200 degrees F.
02In bowl, toss together cheese and pepperoni; set aside.
03On floured work surface, roll or stretch each biscuit into approximately 3 ½ inch circle. Moisten half of edge with water and place heaping teaspoon of filling in center. Fold circle in half over filling, pressing edges firmly together to seal.
04Place large skillet over medium-low heat until hot. Brush skillet with oil and add as many filled biscuits as will fit. Cook until browned on underside, approximately 2 minutes.
05Turn biscuits over and cook second side until browned and cooked through to center, approximately 2 minutes.
06Transfer filled biscuits to serving platter, brush skillet again and repeat with remaining biscuits (keep cooked ones warm in oven).
07Serve plain or with a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.
