01In a small saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, peanut butter, water and sugar over medium heat. Whisk constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is bubbling. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for at least 1 minute to thicken.
02In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the milk to scalding, about 150 F.
03Brew 1 cup of coffee.
04Using a frother, blender, electric mixer, or whisk, froth the hot milk for about 2 minutes, until thickened and foamy.
05Add 2 tablespoons of the homemade syrup to each of the two coffee mugs.
06Divide the coffee evenly between the mugs and stir thoroughly.
07Top each mug with the frothed milk and serve immediately.
