Ingredients

1 (28-oz) bag frozen fries

2 cups cheese curds

4 tablespoons butter

¼ cup flour

2 cups beef broth

1 teaspoon beef bouillon concentrate

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Roast beef, heated and shredded

Preparation

01Bake fries on a parchment-lined sheet tray according to package directions. For the last few minutes of baking, add cheese curds on top of the french fries. Return to oven just until cheese begins to melt.
02While the fries cook, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour to make a thick paste and cook for about 1 minute.
03Reduce heat and slowly add beef broth and bouillon concentrate, whisking constantly. Add onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk and cook until mixture boils and thickens. Taste gravy and add salt and pepper if desired. Cover and keep warm.
04Serve fries and curds in bowls or on a large platter. Add roast beef and hot gravy over the top. Serve immediately.
