Ingredients for Cereal Milk

2 cups milk

1/2 cup fruity cereal

1/2 cup chocolate cereal

1/2 cup frosted flakes

1/2 cup cinnamon crunch squares

Ingredients for Donuts

Non-stick baking spray

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly

2 eggs

3/4 cup cereal milk

Ingredients for Glaze

1 cup powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup cereal milk

01For the cereal milk, in a medium bowl, combine the cereal and milk, stir, and allow to sit for 20 minutes.
02Pour the milk through a strainer into a small bowl. Rather than discarding the cereal, put it in a bowl, add milk and enjoy.
03For the donuts, preheat the oven to 425 F and lightly grease the donut pan with non-stick baking spray.
04In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
05In a medium bowl, add the melted butter and eggs and whisk the ingredients until smooth. Pour into the flour mixture. Stir together the wet and dry ingredients to form the batter.
06Pour the donut batter evenly into the donut pan molds and place in the oven for 8 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
07Remove from oven and allow to cool.
08For the cereal milk glaze, place the powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl.
09Gradually whisk the cereal milk into the sugar until it forms a thick, smooth glaze.
10Dip one side of each donut into the cereal milk glaze then place donut, glaze side up, on a rack for 10 minutes to allow the glaze to set.
