1 cup milk

Pinch of salt

3/4 cup water

1 cup quick oats

1 ripe banana, mashed

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon chopped walnuts

Preparation

01In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, salt and water until steaming hot, but not boiling. Add oats and cook, stirring until creamy, 1 to 2 minutes.
02Remove from heat and stir in mashed banana and maple syrup. Divide between two bowls; garnish with walnuts and a dash more syrup and serve.
