Cook Time: 15 minutes

1 (16-ounce) oval loaf sourdough bread

1 cup (8-ounces) cream cheese, room temperature

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

3/4 cup sour cream, divided

5 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

4 green onions, chopped, plus more for garnish

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 pound baby carrots

3 stalks celery, cut into sticks

1 pound mini multicolor peppers

4 cups mini pretzels

01Preheat oven to 375 F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut top third off of loaf of bread in the shape of a football. Carefully hollow out bottom leaving a 1-inch shell of bread intact for support. Reserve hollowed out bread pieces for serving.
02Mix cream cheese, 1 cup cheddar, 1/4 cup sour cream, bacon, green onions, garlic and pepper in large bowl until combined.
03Spoon cream cheese mixture into bread bowl. Top with remaining cheddar. Transfer to prepared baking sheet and bake until light golden brown, about 15 minutes.
04Transfer remaining sour cream to piping bag and cut a small tip from the corner. Pipe sour cream lines resembling the laces of a football onto top of bread bowl.
05Serve with carrots, celery, peppers, pretzels and reserved bread pieces.
