About Yogurt Covered Strawberries

For a light and deliciously sweet snack, try our Yogurt-Covered Strawberries! These juicy strawberries are dipped in creamy yogurt and frozen to create a delightful balance of textures. Simple to make and packed with flavor, they are a great option for a healthy snack or an easy dessert to enjoy on warm days. Perfect for a refreshing treat or a fun twist on a classic dessert,

Ingredients

1 pound strawberries

20 ounces plain yogurt

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Food coloring of choice

Preparation

01Rinse and pat dry the strawberries.
02In a bowl, add the yogurt and vanilla extract. Mix well.
03Split the yogurt between 4 separate bowls. In 3 of the bowls, add food coloring. We suggest adding 1 drop to 1 bowl, 2 drops to the 2nd bowl and 3 drops to the 3rd bowl. Then mix well.
04Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
05Split the strawberries into 4 batches. Dip the 4 batches of strawberries separately into the 4 bowls and lay them on the lined baking sheet.
06Put the strawberries in the freezer for an hour. After an hour, remove the strawberries and dip them in the bowls of yogurt for a second time and re-freeze.
07Remove the strawberries from the freezer when ready to serve.
