Ingredients

8 tablespoons butter, divided

3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce

1/2 cup honey

4 ounces cooked chicken breast, shredded

1/2 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese

4 thick sourdough bread slices

1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese

Preparation

01In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 6 tablespoons of butter. Whisk in buffalo sauce and honey until sauce slightly thickens. Coat the shredded chicken with the sauce. Set aside.
02Add shredded white cheddar cheese to two slices of bread.
03Divide the buffalo chicken in half and add on top of the cheddar cheese on both slices.
04Add the gorgonzola crumbles on top of the chicken on both slices. Place remaining slices of bread to both sandwiches.
05In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Place chicken sandwich in skillet and lightlybrown on both sides. Cook over low heat until the cheese has melted. Remove from heat, slice in half and serve immediately.
