01Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Toss strawberries with granulated sugar in a medium bowl and set aside.
02Beat together heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla and lemon zest in mixing bowl until stiff peaks form. Fold in sour cream until just combined.
03Brush pound cake slices with butter and grill until golden and grill marks appear, about 1 minute per side. Transfer grilled pound cake to serving plates.
04Add strawberries to grill and cook until grill marks appear, flipping once, about 90 seconds per side. If using grill with wide grate, cook strawberries in cast iron pan on grill for about 3 minutes.
05Top grilled pound cake with lemon whipped cream and garnish with grilled strawberries.
