01In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat oil. Add bulgur, cinnamon, allspice, and cardamom to the pan and toast lightly, stirring occasionally until spices are fragrant, about 3 minutes.
02Add milk, agave nectar and salt; stir well. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium-low heat and partially cover. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid is absorbed but grains are still loose and creamy, about 30 minutes.
03Remove from heat and stir in dried cherries. Let sit 3 to 5 minutes.
04Divide cereal between 6 breakfast bowls. Garnish with berries and almonds. Serve warm with additional warm milk.
